Henry Edward Caison, Jr. October 05, 2013

 

Henry Edward “Ed” Caison, Jr., age 66 of Laurinburg passed away at his home on Saturday, October 05, 2013. 

 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel officiated by Dr. Jeffrey McGirt. Burial with military honors will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. 

 

Ed was born August 21, 1947 in Marlboro County, South Carolina, son of the late Henry Edward Caison, Sr., and Sara Stevens Caison. He was a proud United States Navy Veteran retiring after 22 years of dedicated service to his country. He then worked and retired from Rockwell (Meritor). He attended the East Laurinburg Church of God and was an avid NASCAR racing fan. Ed loved spending time with his family and going to McDonalds to meet with his buddies. 

 

He is survived by his devoted wife of 35 years, Ellen McCoy Caison of the home; his daughter, Shelley C. Brigman and husband Scott of Hamlet; step son, Mark Dunn of Wilmington, DE; three grandchildren, Hailey T. Ledwell, Nathan Brigman, Paisley Dunn and great grandchild, Draylin Thomas. 

 

Visitation will be on Monday, October 7, 2013, 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Richard Boles Funeral Service. 

 

The family request that memorial donations be made in Ed’s memory to the Victory Junction Gang Camp, 4500 Adam’s Way, Randleman, NC 27317.
