Brenda "Faye" Hill Singletary

Mrs. Brenda "Faye" Hill Singletary, age 68 of Laurel Hill passed away to her Heavenly home on Friday, December 19, 2014. 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2014 at the Huckabee Grove Emanuel Holiness Church with burial following in Hillside Memorial Park. 

Faye was the loving daughter of the late Robert and Martha Clark Hill born October 7, 1946. She served the Lord faithfully along with her husband Rev. Larry Singletary at Huckabee Grove Emanuel Holiness Church. She retired as a counselor from Scotland County Mental Health. Faye loved working in the church, ministering to her community and caring for her family especially her grandchildren. A devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother that will truly be missed. 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Rev. Wayman "Buzz" Hill. 

Faye is survived by her husband, Rev. Larry Singletary of the home; a son, Jody Singletary of Laurel Hill; her daughters, Amy S. Blackwelder and husband Tommy of Laurel Hill, Jessica S. Haynes and husband Matthew of Rockingham; brothers, Wayne Wright and wife Marie Lou of Augusta, GA, Kelly Rouse and Council Powell of Laurinburg; sister, Kaye Whitmore and husband Carl of Marston, sister-in-law, JoAnne Hill of Laurinburg; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; many nieces, nephews, her church family and a host of family and friends. 

Visitation will be from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
