Mrs. Brenda Pearson Hogan 65, of Hamlet, formerly of Laurinburg, died on Sunday, Jan. 20, at Richmond Pines Healthcare and Rehab Center following an extended illness.

 

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Hillside Cemetery in Laurinburg with the Pastor Don Malpass officiating.

 

She is survived by her son Robert Miller of Charlotte, her daughter Kelly Kumar of Aberdeen, and three grandchildren:Matthew Blades, Jordan Miller and Gavin Miller.

 

She was born on March 26, 1947 in Anson County and was a daughter of the late Kelly and Estelle Pearson. Brenda was a member of Laurel Hill Baptist Church, which she loved dearly and where she sang in the choir. She also enjoyed playing the piano.
