Obituary for Susan Rogers Quick

Susan Rogers Quick of Denver, NC, Departed this earth on March 10, 2021, at the age of 73, after a courageous two-year battle with cancer. Susan was surrounded by the love of her family at the time of her passing. Susan is preceded in death by her parents Marion and Hazel Rogers, and her husband of 34 years, Billy Hubert Quick. She grew up in Larinburg, North Carolina before moving to Charlotte where she spent most of her adult life. Susan was a proud graduate and active alumni of Presbyterian Nursing School in Charlotte. Susan took pride in her nursing career during her life and enjoyed needlework, knitting, crocheting, gardening, and reading. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Ashley Quick and (Tonya Combs), Daughter Marian Quick Vaccaro (Michael Vaccaro); grandchildren Ella Chandler Vaccaro, Nolan Michael Vaccaro, Oliver Ellis Quick; Her sister Sara Webb (William E. Webb Jr.); Nephews William E Webb III and Rogers Webb; her beloved cat Nugget; as well as several grand nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn East Cemetery on March 20, 2021, at 1:00 PM.
