Kathleen was born October 12, 1947 and died in Charlotte, NC at Mecklenburg General Hospital of Lupus on July 1, 1979 at the age of 31.

Lupus is a chronic inflammatory disease that occurs when your body's immune system attacks your own tissues and organs.

Kathleen was a bright shining star of our class, who always had a smile to share and always a kind word to and about everyone. She was fun as a lab partner and fun in our group at the Honeycone drive-in. I was always very fond of  Kathleen and was really shocked to learn about her death.
